One Night Stand Theater, a Denver-based company that performs staged readings of thematically-linked scenes, sketches, and stories, has chosen one of my scenes from “Heaven Sent” for their next production, “The Seven Deadly Sins,” 7 pm Sunday, February 16, at the Vintage Theatre in Aurora.
This play is a comedic and contemporary adaptation of the Apocryphal Book of Tobit. The scene is the fateful encounter between the demon lover Asmodeus, and a young couple, and yes, ALL SEVEN of the deadly sins are mentioned.
